Terms and Conditions

Who we are: Sunrise Group SA Pty Ltd ABN 48 124 747 708 ("Living Adventure") is a licensed Travel Agent and is a member of the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF).

Prices: All prices are in Australian dollars (AU$) on a twin share basis unless noted otherwise. Prices are correct at the time of reservation and are subject to currency fluctuations and may change without notice.

Application: These terms and conditions apply to any contract made between Living Adventure and any person (referred to as the "Client") purchasing goods or services referred from Living Adventure.

Supplier: is either a Tour Operator, Ground Operator, Airline Carrier or contractor that provides a service on behalf of Living Adventure.

How to Book: Contact Living Adventure Travel Agent, visit www.livingadventure.com.au or www.livingadventure.net or call Living Adventure. Please note that quotes are valid for 3 days and are in Australian Dollars. After 3 days, our system will automatically re-quote at today's rates.

Booking: A tour reservation can take up to 3 business working days to process and to confirm a seat on the tour and/or flights. The Supplier may also cancel the booking on short notice or advise there is no availability. Living Adventure may provide you with alternative itinerary when this occurs.

Visa: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the passport he/she is traveling on is valid with a minimum 6 month validity from the date of return to Australia.

Living Adventure can only recommend and obtain visa(s) relevant to the itinerary on the Client’s behalf. However, it is the responsibility of the Client to ensure she/she has the correct entry visas for the destinations he/she is travelling to.

Living Adventure assumes the name on the ‘booking form’ is the same name as on the passport the client is travelling on. Living Adventure will pass the cost for any amendment fees requested by supplier to the Client.

  1. A fee of AU$100 per person per visa for visas obtained in Australia (AU$150.00 if no tour or air reservation)
  2. AU$28 per person per visa where a bank cheque, foreign currency draft or postal order is required.
  3. Couriers fees where applicable.

Deposit: Not refundable but goes towards the total amount on the invoice. A minimum equivalent of AU$250 per person, per flight sector in addition to the deposit requested by Supplier before 90 days ofdeparture date departing from Australia/country or departure date of the first tour.
Below are calculations for deposit less than 90 days before the departure date:

  1. 50% of total holiday cost for reservation before 89-70 days of departure date
  2. 60% of total holiday cost for reservation before 69-50 days of departure date
  3. 80% of total holiday cost for reservation before 49-31 days of departure date
  4. 100% of total holiday cost for reservation less than 30 days of departure date

Tour: The deposit is only refundable if the tour or flights are cancelled by the Supplier and subject to cancellations conditions. The Balance of payment for tour is due 90 days before departure date or at midnight on the date of the invoice. Extension may be granted at the discretion of the tour operator.

Flights: Deposit is FULL Payment for flight tickets due at mid night on the date of the invoice unless noted otherwise.

  1. Price of Air fare can change without notification due to fluctuations in charges and currency.
  2. Tax quotes are not guaranteed. Taxes may change at the time of ticketing.
  3. Air fares are not guaranteed or unadvised changes without full payment.

The ticket may be auto cancelled if payment is not received within 3 days. Subsequently, Living Adventure may not be able to retrieve the same Air fare quoted. Visit www.checkmytrip.com regularly with reference provided on the e ticket/invoice for possible changes from airline carrier(s) that may affect your itinerary.

Invoice: An invoice is sent upon confirmation of your reservation outlining all aspects of products booked. Confirmations are subject to unadvised changes until full payment has been received.

An invoice is auto generated after confirmation from the Supplier. The invoice is then forwarded to an email address provided by the Client with the balance of payment due date on it.

Payment: Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, electronic bank transfer, cheque and cash.
Credit card payments are directed to a BankSA hosted payment gateway and attract a 1.5% surcharge per passenger, per flight sector which will be added to the total price. Please allow up to 3 business days to process payment.

Electronic Funds Transfer payments can be made by accessing the Internet banking site of your financial institution and making the payment directly.

Please include the trip reference on the invoice followed by your surname, e.g. 1234SMITH in the EFT payment details.

Payments need to be made to Living Adventure's nominated bank account, details of which are displayed on the invoice.

Travel Documents: Once payment is received, a travel voucher will be issued. For special requests e.g. in-flight meals, wheel chair request and /or medical/dietary requirements, a travel voucher is issued upon full payment and once confirmation has been received from the supplier. Please note vouchers are accountable documents and serve as exchange vouchers for products you have booked. Non-presentation of your vouchers may result in charges being applied locally. There are some instances however where documentation is not required. This will be advised at time of reservation.

Travel Documents shall be released to the Client after receipt of the total amount for the booking by Direct Deposit, Credit Card or cash payment.

Amendments: If an amendment occurs, Living Adventure reserves the right to re-price. All amendments must be made directly with Living Adventure. In some cases, travel agent charges will also apply.

Travel agent charges: An amendment fee of Fifty Australian dollars applies for the first amendment on any confirmed reservation. Subsequent amendments are charged at an additional of twenty five Australian dollars per sector (air / land / accommodation/ car rental reservation) in addition to supplier’s charges.

Reissue Fee: No charge, unless applied by the supplier.

Cancellations: All deposits and amendment fees are non-refundable. Refunds are subject to cancellation fees levied by tour operators, airlines, hotels, insurance companies, consulates, etc. and will incur an 11% service fee. Refunds will only be paid when received from tour operators, airlines, hotels, insurance companies, consulates, etc.

Frequent Flyer Points: A service fee per person of Fifty Australian dollars for domestic reservations, One hundred Australian dollars for international one-way and return reservations, two hundred Australian Dollars for round world reservations.

Refunds: No refund will be made on any part of a package provided and not used. Living Adventure does not authorise the employees of any supplier to promise refunds to clients.

Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is compulsory for tours. We strongly recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance that includes emergency evacuation coverage. Please click here for quote.

Medical Form: All clients are obligated to review and acknowledge the Medical Information, as it relates to their trip. Any questions in relation to the Clients physical and mental suitability for a trip must be reviewed by the Clients medical practitioner for approval. Living Adventure *cannot* offer advice of a medical nature. Clients with pre-existing medical conditions defined on the Medical form must return a signed form to the insurance and tour company for assessment to participate on the tour.

Medical Conditions and Special requirements: The client must inform Living Adventure and the tour company in writing during the process of booking of medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and or any medical condition. Failure to notify either Living Adventure or the tour company may result in the Client being refused participation of the tour. Note. Some trips may be unsuitable for Clients due to age, mobility, disability, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions.

Deposit Insurance: Which costs just Fifty Australian dollars per person from QBE insurance is available to cover initial payments. The cost of Deposit Insurance is then deducted from a QBE travel Insurance policy when you make full payment. Please ask a Living Adventure consultant for more information.

Health and Immigration: Please ensure you comply with all passport, visa and health requirements necessary for the countries you wish to visit. Living Adventure is not responsible for invalid passport, visa or health requirements. The Australian Government may have published travel advisories regarding travel to the countries you will be visiting. You may check these travel advisories at the AUSTRALIAN FOREIGN AFFAIRS website http://www.smartraveller.gov.au

Airline carrier: Living Adventure is an agent for many airline carriers. Tickets issued by Living Adventure is only valid to that particular carrier and participating carriers that carry or undertake to carry the passenger and/or his baggage. Living Adventure can only represent passengers for cancellation, time change, refund or reissue of tickets issued by Living Adventure.

Airlines are continually developing and modifying their booking systems. What this means is that some airlines now have the ability to auto cancel the date of your flight booking without demanding full payment at little or no notice. Therefore Living Adventure recommends payment for Airline tickets within 3 days from the date on invoice.

If the Airline does cancel your booking, Living Adventure may not be able to rebook the cancelled flights.

Privacy: When you sign up to become a member of Living Adventure, the information collected from you primarily is to make it easier and more rewarding for you to use our services. You may unsubscribe our services anytime.

Depending on the service you are accessing, you could be asked to provide certain information such as your name, email address , billing address, credit card number, passport details and requested information to complete a booking.

Living Adventure will only use the personal information you have chosen to provide us for the purpose for which you provided it. Living Adventure will not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
